Oxyjun® - Two Human Clinical Studies

Study one: Oxyjun® at 500 mg/day for 8 weeks significantly helped improve maximum oxygen consumption (VO2 max) and blood pressure; Results also demonstrated an improvement in power of the lower limbs (Sandhu et al., 2010)*

Study two: Oxyjun® at 400 mg/day for 8 weeks was evaluated and showed significant benefits helping to increase ventricular ejection fraction associated with cardiac output and rapid supply of oxygen to the tissues (Girandola RN, Srivastava S 2016).*

The study used the Borg Scale of Perceived Exertion to measure how intense individuals were exercising.

Oxyjun® demonstrated a significant reduction in fatigue compared to the placebo, which most likely was due to better cardiac output. Application and Serving Size

Oxyjun® can be administered in capsules or tablets, pre/post workout bars; powdered drink mixes and green super food formulas. The recommended serving size of Oxyjun® is 400 mg daily.


What is Oxyjun®?

Oxyjun® is a stimulant free proprietary extract of Terminalia arjuna (TA) bark free from arjunolic acid and is standardized to polyphenols and glycosides. The raw bark of the Terminalia arjuna tree has been used traditionally in Ayurveda for centuries because of its cardiotonic properties.*

Oxyjun® versus Generic Arjuna (TA)

The generic Arjuna is not the same as Oxyjun® used in the clinical research. Several animal studies have demonstrated that the TA bark used on the market contains hydrophobic components that have some safety issues (Oberoi L et al, 2011). Oxyjun® does not contain these harmful compounds. Research also shows that Oxyjun® outperforms the generic.
